Kochi, India – February 8, 2008

EcommIT Labs, the provider of affordable software development services to partners worldwide today announced the deployment of a software development framework , Xibos ( www.xibos.com ) to rapidly develop and implement robust web based applications.

This is an all purpose database driven e-business development platform using XML and Java/J2EEbased technology. The platform provides a generic application framework and can fit into virtually any on-line business. Moreover an instance of this application module set can host multiple websites and/or web based applications.

Xibos was developed entirely at EcommIT and involved 1560 person months of work from design to development. The key features of the framework are messaging , site-builder, payment to name a few.

All modules in XML are written with input and output for each module carried out using XML based protocols. Through out the product if exchange of data is required between two modules or among a group of modules, or to/from external applications, XML is the basis of such transfers. Being an open systems standard, this is a universally acceptable means of exchanging data among web applications.
